Golden Tides® is an international marine operations and coastal infrastructure platform specialising in integrated offshore and nearshore sargassum management.
The company was created to move sargassum management beyond emergency beach cleaning and fragmented local responses.
Our role is to help governments, island administrations, municipalities, tourism destinations and coastal asset owners manage sargassum across its full marine pathway.
We combine large-scale offshore operations with site-specific nearshore interception, pumping and Geocylinder® dewatering systems.
Golden Tides® does not provide a single piece of equipment or an isolated intervention. We develop complete operating systems that integrate engineering, vessels, pumping infrastructure, coastal systems, monitoring, logistics, maintenance and long-term operational management.
Golden Tides® was created to transform sargassum management from a seasonal emergency into a coordinated regional marine operation.
Our Purpose
Managing Sargassum Before It Becomes a Coastal Crisis
Sargassum is a regional and transboundary marine phenomenon. It moves across national jurisdictions and affects entire tourism corridors, islands and coastal economies.
Traditional responses usually begin when the material has already reached the beach. At that stage, it has absorbed large quantities of seawater, begun to decompose and become considerably more difficult and expensive to manage.
Golden Tides® was created to intervene earlier.
Our offshore operations are designed to address large incoming concentrations at sea. Our nearshore systems protect priority coastlines, hotels, bays, ports, marinas and communities through interception, diversion, concentration, pumping and Geocylinder® dewatering.
Together, these services form one coordinated regional management strategy.
